Restoring a relationship doesn’t have to be a daunting task

You started as a team, finish as a team.

Relationships can be restored when couples commit to keep talking.

Many couples forget how their relationship was when they were first married. They worked together to plan dates, vacations, how they are going to raise their children etc. After a couple years, they find themselves living separate lives.

It doesn’t have to be that way. With a few simple steps, you can connect every day and make a date to plan your future together week by week.

  1. Meet weekly to plan the following week using a shared calendar you can create using Google.
  2. Remember why you married your partner and recall the feelings you felt when you were doing things together as a couple.
  3. Give your partner permission to share their feelings about how the relationship is going without defending yourself or judgment.
  4. Make dates to do fun activities like you did when you were dating.
  5. Rinse and repeat. Keep doing steps 1-4.
